"Learning location" museum - offers for schools and kindergartens

Our aim is to convey art in a playful way and to encourage people to enjoy looking at it
and creating it themselves.

During an interactive tour, children and young people gain initial access to the exhibited originals. A wide variety of carefully selected art education methods are used to liven up the visit to the exhibition. During the subsequent creative-practical part, the children become active themselves in the well-equipped werk.statt. Under the guidance of experienced art educators, previously discussed works are recreated in the werk.statt.

In addition to various workshops on Lothar Fischer and the museum architecture, the museum offers a separate art education programme for each special exhibition. The programmes and their implementation are adapted to the respective age and target group. This means that both nursery school children and those who have already completed art courses can find a suitable programme. We also welcome groups with children who have special needs.

(90 minutes, fee € 3 p. p.)

Further training

On the Thursday after each exhibition opening (3 times a year), there is a special introduction for teachers of all school types and educators at 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm. In addition to a guided tour through the respective special exhibition, the specially developed art education programme will be presented.

For teachers, we offer training courses focussing on art appreciation and practical artistic activities. Seminar and vocational schools are also welcome to attend introductory events on art education.
